damage in shipping, all returns must be authorized by Genius
Goods, Inc.
In
the event your unit arrives damaged, report the damage to
us immediately. We will work with the shipping company to
make order right. All shipping companies now impose a 48 hour
time limit for returns on shipping damage, and must be reported
by then or the unit is deemed accepted by recipient.
After
this time period, the unit is under manufacturer's warranty,
and all interaction for repair and replacement is understood
to be solely between the purchaser and the manufacturer.
SHIPPING WARRANTIES
AND LIABILITIES
Refusal
- In the event of you the buyer refuse delivery for any reason,
you are to pay any and all shipping, storage, restocking and
handling fees.
Unable to complete
delivery - Carriers make every reasonable attempt to complete
deliveries. As it is the responsiblity of the buyer to make
themselves available for delivery and to provide accurate
delivery information, should the delivery company be unable
to complete delivery, you the buyer are responsible for any
and all costs associated with delivery and return delivery.
Genius Goods Inc will incur no expense or fees on shipping,
handling, restocking, storage costs or fees. Genius Goods
liability for product sale is for the cost of the product
itself only.
In addition, Genius
Goods Inc makes no guarantees on the timeliness or success
of the freight carrrier. The negotiation of delivery is solely
and exclusively between the buyer and the shipping agent,
and all liability for any costs or fees fall upon the buyer.
In no situation
and under no circumstances is Genius Goods Inc liable for
fees and costs associated with a return that does not involve
product defect or damage. Products can be repaired or
replaced depending upon the terms of product warranty and
at the discretion of the manufacturer. All items returned
without pre-authorization will in all cases be charged a restocking
fee and no shipping charges will be refunded. Contact Genius

the unit immediately after unpacking.
- Save
all packing materials until after the unit is installed
and operational.
- Contact
us IMMEDIATELY if the unit is damaged.
- Returns
for shiping damage has a time limit imposed by the shipping
company, sometimes as little as 48 hours.
- If
you do not report damage immediately, the shipping company
may not pay.
- Returns
must be authorized by the warehouse. If it is sent
back we may not know who it is from.
Again,
you MUST receive an authorization number from Genius Goods,
Inc. for a return!
